How to Build a Cardboard Train
These are not descriptive plans but more of a pictogram to help get you started. If you build one you can repay any withstanding karmic debt by sending me a picture.
Start with three boxes: one large moving box; and two refrigerator or washer/dryer boxes. Cut boxes a shown.
Use box rivets to attach the pieces as shown below. For the purpose of illustration, I show the flaps on the oputside of the train. You may decide it looks better to connect flaps on the inside.

Don't get lost now...I'm going to show the cab of the train from a different angle so that we can see a different face of the box. Here's how to cut the cab so it can be connected to the rest of the train.
Connect the train using box rivets. Again, you may want to put connect it with the flaps on the inside as in the last illustration. Use a Quaker Oats tube (yeah, oatmeal!) for the chimney.
Finally, you will want to add decoration...iron wheels and brass handrails.
