How to Build a Cardboard Stable

Start with six refrigerator boxes

Cut each one along the entire length of one edge so that the boxes now lay open and flat. Cut along the dotted line as shown below. Next fold along the dashed line to create tabs that will be used to fasten the panels together. Do this wiht five of your six boxes. Cut along the dotted lines as shown below to create the fencing of each stable stall. Make sure each "board" is 6"-8" wide for better strength.

Take each panel and fold the right section in 90 degrees so that it stands up on it's own. Here's what it will look like from the front and from the top: Now line them up and connect them with box rivets using the tabs. Here's what it looks like from the top: To make the roof, take your last unspoiled box and lay it on top. Use box rivets to connect it to the rest of the stable using the tabs.
