How to Build a Lemonade Stand

Build a Cardboard lemonade Stand / Carnival Booth

Help the fight against childhood cancer. Consider donating your lemonade stand proceeds to Alex's Lemonade Stand, a great organization for a great cause!

Start with one refrigerator box and cut as shown in the illustration.

Next you will need to cut some windows that turn into shelves. This is simple to do, but may look easier than it really is. When was the last time you did some GEOMETRY!

Imagine that the shelf will form a right triangle when fastened into position. Use the Pythagorean Theorem to calculate the length of each section of the shelf. Leave 2 inches at the top of your cut section to make a tab for placing rivets.

Sampler Rivet Kit

Sampler Rivet Kit - $24.95

This rivet kit can be used to build any of the project plans featured on my website. Includes all three sizes of rivets for connecting multiple layers of cardboard of various thicknesses. This kit includes:

  • 1 Box of Long Rivets - (100 pcs./50 sets)
  • 1 Box of Medium Rivets - (100 pcs./50 sets)
  • 1 Bag of Mini Rivets - (100 pcs./50 sets)
  • 1 Rivet Remover
  • 1 Utility Knife

To make things a little easier, use the dimensions of a perfect right triangle...I find 9-12-15 to be about right for the front, and 6-8-10 for the side windows. Lemonade Stand 04
